The Pain of Unquiet Evenings

Yearning for Sweet Oblivion

The grip of oblivion was a siren's call, a gentle promise of escape. To fade in its depths was to quell the incessant chant of existence. The world's sharp edges dissolved under the spell of its peace.

To truly desire oblivion was to ache for a temporary respite from the cruelty of being.
